Starting out at age fifteen Mack found his first job at a local radio station in central Pennsylvania. According to Mack, once he got a taste of what it was like to be an on air talent/DJ there was nothing else he wanted to be. Mack would then go onto legendary Top 40 radio station Q102 Philadelphia, where he practiced his skills amongst some of the radio's greatest. Mack also said Learning from these influential people was an eye opening experience. "I can't tell you how many nights I slept in the studio waiting to do my shift."
The Backstreet Boys are now permanently etched in Hollywood history with a star on the Walk of Fame. BSB member Howie Dorough says dreams do come true.
The star of the multi-platinum pop group is located near the Live Nation building in the heart of Hollywood.
The five-member boy band climbed the charts in the late 1990s with such hits as "Quit Playing Games," "I Want it That Way," and "Everybody." The Backstreet Boys are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year.
